How Invisalign works

Invisalign straightens your teeth with a series of clear aligners, custom-made from a 3D scan of your mouth. Each aligner moves your teeth a little, horizontally, vertically and even rotating them where needed, in the sequence your dentist plans.

Because the aligners are removable, you can eat, drink, brush and floss as normal, and they're so discreet most people won't notice you're wearing them.

Who it's for

Invisalign suits teens and adults with mild to moderate crowding or spacing, or an overbite, underbite or crossbite, who want a subtle alternative to braces.

Questions and answers

Does Invisalign hurt?

No. You'll feel gentle pressure for a few days when you switch to a new set of aligners. That's a sign they're working, and it soon settles.

How long does treatment take?

It depends on how much your teeth need to move. Many people see results in a few months; we'll give you a personal timescale at your consultation.

Will my teeth stay straight?

Yes, as long as you wear your retainers as advised after treatment and keep up regular check-ups.

How much does it cost?

Our Invisalign packages cost around £4,100 on average and include all assessments, X-rays, aligners, retainers and tooth whitening. You can spread the cost with 0% APR monthly instalments.
