NHS & private dentistry
Check-ups, fillings, crowns, dentures and everything you need to keep your mouth healthy, on the NHS or privately. You choose.

- Denplan available
- Free NHS treatment for under-26s
NHS or private? You decide
We provide a full range of NHS and private general dentistry, and we'll always explain the benefits of each so you can make an informed choice.
Choosing NHS dentistry doesn't mean accepting lower-quality care. Your options may be more limited, but in many cases NHS treatment is the most appropriate choice. Most of our patients register on the NHS and then choose private options where they want them.
Questions and answers
Who can join?
Anyone. We welcome new patients from Glasgow and across the UK for NHS and private treatment. You don't need to live locally to join.
What can I get on the NHS?
All treatment your dentist considers clinically necessary to keep your mouth, teeth and gums healthy and pain-free, including dentures, crowns and bridges.
Who gets free NHS treatment?
NHS treatment is free for everyone aged under 26, for pregnant women and mothers until their baby is 12 months old, and for people with an exemption certificate because of income.
Other NHS patients pay 80% of the cost of their treatment, including X-rays, up to a maximum of £384.
Do you offer dental plans?
Yes, we offer Denplan. For a small monthly fee it covers check-ups, X-rays and hygienist visits, and gives you 10% off any private treatment.
